Knitting

Knitting is something that I took up a couple years ago and have enjoyed creating items for friends.  I am not one of those that is so good at following the directions for crafts.  I like to see what I can come up with and find that that is a vital part of the creative process...creating something unique.

Coming Soon...check out my online Etsy store if you are interested in seeing whats available for purchase...
Or...if you are interested in having something created for you, please contact me we discuss further your needs.

Both are created using the alternating knit and purl stitch.  See below for other pictures

PRETTY in PINK - Beanie and Scarf

How cute is she?

The beanie was made especially for Gabi using two different yarns together and with the thought that she would have fun switching out the flowers.  The flowers are attached using sticky-back hook and loop squares.

In addition, I made a coordinating scarf for the cooler weather.  It was a ton of fun to create something for this little girl.

BLACK 'n GRAY - Skull Cap

A skull cap style beanie was knitted just for Michael using a thicker black yarn and mixing it with a thinner speckled gray variegated yarn.  It is a lighter weight, great to keep the noggin warm, but hopefully not to much for the fresh fall air.

OPEN WRAP - wrap/chunky scarf

This wrap and/or chunky scarf was a fun one for me to create.  It was not by any pattern other then what I saw in my head.  What I had envisioned when creating this piece was that it could be worn as a lightweight wrap, possibly dressing up a pair of jeans or bundled up and worn as a chunky scarf to stay warm in the cooler weather...a universal piece.
